Cooking Class Schedule 

Fall is here, school has started and I’m ready to cook.  Hope you can join me for my last-ever series of classes. I will continue to teach private classes for groups – among my favorites are bridal showers, birthday parties, and couples dinner parties.

 

Weeknight Cooking – Mediterranean

 Tuesday, September 25      6 pm   $50 – waitlist only

Thursday, September 27   10 am   $50 – waitlist only

Mediterranean flavors are perfect for weeknight meals because the spices and seasoning used are so wonderful. They give your food great flavor in a short amount of time.  On the menu: Beef and Pine Nut Phyllo Rolls; Everyday Chicken Shawarma; Turkish Lentil Soup; Harissa Roasted Butternut Squash and Mini Baklava Bites.

New Ways with Vegetables

Tuesday, October 9  –  6 PM    $50 – 6 spaces available

Thursday, October 11–  10 AM $50 – 2 spaces available

 Are you tired of cooking vegetables the same way?  This class will give you some new ideas for cooking vegetables – among them is Asparagus Carbonara; Fried Halloumi with Brussels Sprouts; Caramelized Cabbage Soup; Poblano Rajas Tacos and more.

With work, school and busy schedules we need delicious and healthy meals – quick!   If you are looking for meals that are easy to prepare and full of flavor, this class will help you solve your ” what’s for dinner” problem.  All recipes will be gluten and dairy free.  Some recipes will feature cook once, eat twice options.  We will also play with the instant pot and/or electric pressure cooker.

 

Brunch with Friends or Breakfast for Dinner

These recipes can be used for either occasion and are among my favorites.  Shrimp and Grits; Red Pepper, Potato and Prosciutto Frittata; Chicken and Waffles; Homemade Breakfast Sausage, and Perfectly Poached Eggs. A bonus is my famous never-before-shared scone recipe.

 

Registration Info

Classes are priced individually. Each class is limited to 12 participants (unless otherwise noted). Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a space, please call (979-324-6042) or email (pchefdiane@aol.com) for availability and then mail payment to Diane Lestina (at 819 Pine Valley Drive, College Station 77845) with your name, address, phone number and the names of the class/classes you would like to take. You may also  pay using PayPal. To do so – please email me with the class topics and dates you are registering for and click the PayPal Button and enter the amount for the number of classes you are registering for.




Classes may be cancelled if there are fewer than 8 participants. Please note you are not registered until I have received payment.

If you need to cancel, the sooner the better, but you must cancel at least 3 days before the class to receive a refund or credit towards another class. You are welcome to send a friend in your place if you are unable to cancel in time.
